By the early 2000s, J.C. Penney has been added to the west end of the complex. This store was only in operation for 3 years. On the north end, the old Klein's / Korvettes has been gutted and rebuilt as a structure housing a Food Court, cinema and Nobody Beats The Wiz electronics store. BROADWAY MALL now spans 1,209,000 leasable square feet, with 110 stores.

A "then & then" juxtaposition. The first view is circa-1957. The second was taken at the same place (the Main Entrance) 50 years later.
