WESTFARMS MALL, circa-1974. In its original state, the complex covered approximately 869,000 leasable square feet and -by year's end- contained thirty-seven stores and services. Conspicuous in its absence is a Penney's Auto Center, which, at the time, was a standard J.C. Penney store fixture.
