The "Wonderful WonderFall" at TOWNE MALL. These water-less fountains, which consisted of floor-to-ceiling nylon strands with descending drops of glycerine, were a popular enclosed mall feature in the mid-to-late 1960s. Due to their high-maintenance requirements, they quickly fell out of favor. None exist in the present day.

The local Northwest Concert Band performed in the mall's Wonderfall Court in 1967. Storefronts for Singer Sewing Center and Casual Corner are seen on the right. A glimpse of the Wonderfall "fountain" appears on the left.
