THOMAS MALL was one of the first casualties of the over-malling of the Valley of the Sun. After a decade of decline, it was bulldozed in the spring of 1994, leaving only its Wards Auto Center (surrounded in blue) standing. The ARCADIA CROSSING power center (seen above) was the mall's replacement.
