San Ramon's tiny community-class shopping venue was developed in three phases. The first (in black) was completed in 1966. The second (in gray) was added in 1968. A third stage (indicated here as "future development") would be finished in -or around- 1980. For the record, the name ALCOSTA was an amalgamation of ALameda and Contra COSTA counties
