Cinema I & II at CHARLOTTETOWN MALL was reconfigured as a tri-plex in 1975 and "quaded" in 1981. The movie house, and its namesake shopping complex, were given a wrecking ball renovation in 2005.

As was typical in the early years of twin cinemas, both auditoria would play the same feature at the same time. In the case of Cinema I & II in Charlotte, the debut attractions were "Mary, Mary," starring Debbie Reynolds and Barry Nelson.
