The Union Company was a Columbus-based division of Marshall Fields. The TOWN & COUNTRY store, depicted here, welcomed first shoppers in October 1951.

Our first TOWN & COUNTRY layout dates to 1952, when the East, North, Central and West sections had been completed. The strip center encompasses approximately 265,000 leasable square feet. There was free parking for 1,500 autos.
