Lord & Taylor's first suburban shopping center store opened, at West Hartford's BISHOPS CORNER CENTER, in February 1953.

The West Hartford Lord & Taylor was in operation until 1982, when it relocated to WESTFARMS MALL. Soon after, Marshalls moved in. It operates on the second level of the tri-level store structure, sharing space with seven other tenants.
