In its original state, CROSSROADS MALL contained twenty-eight stores and services on 2 levels. Its major anchor was a 50,000 square foot J. C. Penney.

In this vintage view, we see the east side of the mall's "J.C. Penney Co." store. A Winn-Dixie supermarket appears on the far right end.

A zooming-in view of the east facade shows the mall's high-end Mid-Century Modern serpentine roof. From this area, one could access stores such as Cato's ladies' fashions, Miles Shoes and Peoples Drug.
