Joseph Magnin (in dark gray) had moved to a new store, on the north end of the mall, in the late 1960s. The Butler Brothers (later City of Paris and Liberty House) store on the south end was razed in the mid-1970s. San Francisco-based Bullock's North opened a store on the spot in October 1977. This was connected to the mall proper by a glass-enclosed section built over Winston Drive.

The STONESTOWN Bullock's was an operative of a Northern California division of the Los Angeles-based chain. This store, and the entire Bullock's North operation, closed down in 1983.
