Between 1995 and 1997, the South Wing was reconfigured. Target was added as a fifth anchor, replacing the mall's Food Court. The Parisian, Sears and Dillard's stores were also renovated and / or expanded. A new owner came on board in 1998. They renamed the complex COLONIAL MALL BEL AIR in mid-2000.

The COLONIAL MALL moniker was in place between the years 2000 and 2007. After this, the complex was promoted -once again- as BEL AIR MALL.

The mall's fourth anchor operated as a Parisian for 23 years. In September 2007, the store was rebranded as a Belk. It would trade under that nameplate for 9 years.
