A new Century cinema opened -inside the mall- in late 2018. It was the second theatrical venue to operate in, or around, the shopping complex.

In a circa-2020 layout, we see the new Century Southland Mall 5 multiplex (in gray). A Round 1 Bowling & Amusement Center has been installed in the old ice rink space. A vacant Kohl's was repurposed as a Dick's Sporting Goods that was only in business between 2016 and 2020. Lastly, Sears, which predated SOUTHLAND CENTER by 6 years, has just been shuttered.
