The primary anchor of the Secret City shopping hub stands on the southwest corner of the complex. Over the years, the store has operated under five nameplates. Above, we see it during its 12-year stint as a Proffitt's.

In 1999, OAK RIDGE MALL has plural Proffitt's, expanded Wal-Mart and Sears stores, Goody's Family Clothing and the Cinemark Tinseltown 14. Unfortunately, the mall has never been successful. Bigger stores and new entertainment options were not going to save the complex from its eventual demise.
