The original mall had been known -officially- as PLAZA AT KING OF PRUSSIA since 1981. By 1996, it had emerged from a massive renovation. The bulk of the early 1960s complex had been knocked down. An uber upscale wing of stores was added (shown in light gray). This was anchored by Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
