Here we have a sweeping view of the Upper Level of the original complex. It was radically different from most other malls built in the early 1970s. Most had dark interiors, with little -or no- natural lighting. The concourse at MALL IN COLUMBIA was virtually open to the heavens, with a series of skylights.
