A circa-'62 view of the main anchor store of THE MALL. The retail hub was Louisville -and Kentucky's- first regional-class, fully-enclosed shopping center. The Kaufman's of Kentucky seen here would be shuttered in 1966. Over the years, the structure would operate under six different nameplates.
