This store began business, as an LA-based J.W. Robinson's, in September 1969. It featured a "Waterfall Sculptured Wall," created by conceptual artist Tom Van Sant. The original store housed two restaurants; The California Room and Round Robin. After a 13-year stint as a Robinsons-May, the store re-opened as the Bloomingdale's seen here.
