CENTRE AT GLEN BURNIE was successful for a time, but eventually began to decline. The complex lost major tenants, such as Best Buy (in 2010) and Dick's Sporting Goods (in 2013). In 2017, a demalling got underway. A renewed complex, promoted as a "premier outdoor shopping center", emerged in 2018. Its west-facing facade is depicted in this rendering.

In a post-demalling CENTRE AT GLEN BURNIE layout, portions of the mall proper that were left standing are indicated in black. Newly built sections, including a cinema megaplex, appear in gray. The two anchor structures were also spared from the wrecking ball and have been worked into the new power plaza.
