PALM BEACH MALL was given a second major renovation between the years 1998 and 2000. In this circa-2002 plan, we see that a new Dillard's stands at the center of the center and Sears had been enlarged. Unfortunately, these improvements failed to sustain the shopping hub. It was in a pronounced state of decline by the year 2003.

After languishing for several years, PALM BEACH MALL was finally demolished in early 2013. Construction immediately got underway on a new, open-air power center, which would be known as PALM BEACH OUTLETS.
