THOMAS MALL ended up being a casualty of the over-malling of the Valley of the Sun. After a decade of decline, it was bulldozed in the spring of 1994, leaving only its Wards Auto Center (surrounded in blue) standing. A power center, known as ARCADIA CROSSING, was built. The aerial plan above dates to the early years of the 21st Century.

In this snapshot, we see the south end of the main ARCADIA CROSSING structure. Sears Outlet is on the left. It replaced a shuttered Montgomery Ward Specialty Store in November 2001 and was shuttered -itself- in March 2014.

An Ultimate Electronics store opened in this building in June 2001. It was in operation until February 2011. Burlington (Coat Factory) moved in and began business in November 2012.

Famous Footwear was a circa-1996 charter tenant at ARCADIA CROSSING. The store occupies space in a small strip located at the north end of the complex.
