Prange ["Prang-ee"] Way was a Sheboygan-based division of H.C. Prange. The discount chain folded in 1995. ShopKo, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, operated between 1962 and 2019. Turn*Style originated in Lynn, Massachussetts and operated over fifty stores in three states. Alco, a discount division of Abilene, Kansas' Duckwall's variety stores, eventually grew into a 257-store, twenty-three state, enterprise. This chain folded in March 2015.
