The only major renovation ever performed at HARDING MALL was done between early 1989 and mid-1990. As part of the 9 million dollar project, three individual shopping concourses were connected with a wrap-around mallway. The north and south sides of the complex were expanded, a 6-screen theater installed and freestanding Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaurant built.
