An 80' by 450' shopping concourse was built on the rear side of the existing strip CENTRE. Stores opened for business between October 1956 and November 1960. One of the fifteen new "Back Mall" tenants was a 2-level (18,000 square foot) Roos-Atkins (a San Francisco-based men's clothier).
