The complex was given its first major renovation between 1978 and 1980. During this remodeling, two new anchors were added, along with a parking garage. Lord & Taylor became the mall's 100th store, in February 1980. 

P B M was given a second renovation in the late 1980s. This project included installation of the Treats Food Court, which was officially dedicated in November 1987. This new food facility assumed space vacated by a Pantry Pride grocery.
