FORTH WORTH TOWN CENTER was only moderately successful. By the early 1990s, the mall was on the skids. The virtually vacant complex was sold in April 2004. It was given an indoor-outdoor renovation and re-emerged, as LA GRAN PLAZA de FORT WORTH, in February 2005.

The Food Pavilion, a 13-bay culinary complex, was installed as part of the TOWN CENTER renovation. It occupies the Lower Level of the former G.C. Murphy 5 & 10. A glass-enclosed elevator connects said Pavilion with adjacent Upper Level stores.

Cinema Latino de Fort Worth was installed in the old Town Center Cinema 8 space. The original multiplex had opened in August 1987. Cinema Latino was in operation between May 2003 and December 2014. The venue re-opened, as Cine America, in August 2015.
