Greater Cincinnati's ninth mall-type shopping center was also the fifteenth mall developed by Homart Development, a Sears subsidiary. FLORENCE MALL was built in the Queen City's northern Kentucky suburbs. Original stores opened for business between March 1976 and August 1978.
