Phoenix's Westcor bought the FASHION SQUARE mall in 1983. In 1995, they acquired CAMELVIEW PLAZA. Dillard's assumed the Bullock's store in August 1998. A new South Wing was dedicated in September 1998. With these improvements, the malls, collectively known as SCOTTSDALE FASHION SQUARE since 1996, encompassed around 1.8 million leasable square feet, with over 225 stores. Free parking was provided for over 9,000 autos.
