In a late 1950s version of EASTLAND, a tall tower stands at the center of the west court area, which is known as Tower Lane. On the east side of the complex is May Terrace. The mall's first floor, which opens on a Lower Level parking area, is called the Lower Esplanade. In total, the split-level parking area has spaces for 6,000 autos. The May Company Auto Center (in the southeast parking area) will be added to the mall in the early '60s.
