The store seen above opened, in September 1962, as the aforementioned The Crescent. It was rebranded, by Seattle-based Frederick & Nelson, in August 1988. That chain folded in 1992. The Bon Marche acquired the store and opened a branch in July 1993. It was "Macy-ated" in March 2005.

Sears originally opened at NORTHTOWN in June 1961. The store moved into this newly-built structure in October 1989 and would be in operation there for 30 years.
