Our third logo also dates to 1939. By this time, print ads would -more than likely- have trademarks for the "J.J. Newberry Company", as well as one like this, which proclaimed "Newberry's".

A circa-1946 logo. Print ads of the period still featured the dual "J.J. Newberry Company" and "Newberry's" trademarks. This practice had changed, to the usage of just a "Newberry's" trademark, by the late 1950s.

By the early '60s, the standard logo for Newberry's print ads and store nameplates used a bold, script-type font.
