Several modifications are evident in a circa-2015 layout. Penney's closed in 2001, with Burlington Coat Factory moving in in 2006. Joske's had a 16-year Foley's stint before being "Macy-ated", in 2006. Mervyn's also closed in 2006. Its upper floor became La Vida Fashion in 2009. Shoppers World opened, in former Barnes & Noble and Old Navy spaces, in late 2013.

Sears shuttered their IRVING MALL store in February 2019. It had anchored the north end of the complex for 48 years.
