Stores in WESTERN HILLS PLAZA opened for business between October 1954 and September 1955.

The McAlpin Company built Cincinnati's first suburban department store at WESTERN HILLS PLAZA. McAlpin's opened in November 1954 and was expanded in 1955, 1957 and 1963. The store was in business for over 43 years.


This ultra-modern Mabley & Carew fashion store was completed as a second phase of the shopping complex. "Mabley's" opened its doors in September 1955 and operated at WESTERN HILLS PLAZA for over 32 years.
