EASTLAND CENTER, 2009. Steve & Barry's University Sportswear, which opened in the first level of the Montgomery Ward space in 2004, has just shut its doors. The east end of the complex has been rebuilt as a new Burlington Coat Factory. Lowe's opened a shadow anchor store, in the northeast parking lot, in December 2003.

EASTLAND CENTER 2012, In August 2010, a vacant Wards / Steve & Barry's space opened as a new Shoppers World...resulting in all of the mall's anchors being occupied. This situation proved to be short-lived. In May 2012, Sears closed its doors for good.
