Fort Worth's North East Mall

The original NORTH EAST MALL trademark, circa-1971. By our calculations, this Hurst, Texas property was the 17th shopping mall developed by Indiana's Melvin Simon & Associates. Earlier Simon centers included Anderson, Indiana's MOUNDS MALL (1965), Little Rock, Arkansas' THE MALL / UNIVERSITY MALL (1967) and Fort Wayne, Indiana's SOUTHTOWN MALL (1969).
