In the following photos, we see the interior of a circa-1949 S.S. Kresge. These images, which appeared in a Kresge 50th anniversary brochure, have various departments highlighted. Above, we have the Kresge store's candy counter. From a center aisle, a clerk would have measured and priced bags of chocolate-covered peanuts, licorice strips and buttered popcorn.
