By 1971, the mall has been expanded several times. Jordan Marsh, a new west end anchor, was completed in late 1966. Burdine's underwent several enlargements (in shades of gray). The aforementioned East Mall (in medium gray), and its J.C. Penney, were added between late 1970 and early 1971.
