San Francisco's Stonestown Center

The "Big E Stonestown" store was the chain's first suburban branch. It became the mall's first operational tenant in July 1952. In the early days, the store included a Travel Bureau, Public Auditorium, Beauty Salon, Optometrist and Buffet Bakery. There was also a kiddie ride area on its roof.
