November 2007. The open-air Promenade addition opens to much fanfare and confirms the center's position as preeminent shopping facility in east Georgia. With all of the expansions over the years, AUGUSTA MALL has been nearly tripled in size. It now covers approximately 1,388,800 leasable square feet.
