CENTRE AT GLEN BURNIE began to decline in the early 21st century. Major tenants pulled up stakes. A power center demalling was announced in 2017. The enclosed shopping concourse was stripped away, with all stores oriented to the west and south parking areas. The new "premier outdoor shopping center" emerged in 2018. It encompassed around 424,600 leasaable square feet, with free parking for 1,400 autos.
In this view, we see the revitalized shopping center's southwest corner. Cold Stone Creamery was one of many pre-renovation tenants who remained in business.
