The mall's first motion picture venue was built, as a freestanding structure, in the northeast parking area. The Eastland Theatre, seen here, opened in September 1969.

The second theatrical venue was installed in the East Wing of the mall. The Eastland Mall Theatres 3-7, debuted in December 1985.
