MALL HALL OF FAME

Welcome to the largest mall and retail history site on the internet. The MALL HALL OF FAME is a vintage shopping mall scrapbook. Its focus is on shopping complexes built -in the USA- between 1946 and 1979. This site includes historical sections about regional department stores, discount stores, 5 & 10 stores and supermarkets. A circa-2015 site plan shows the new Second Level Plaza At Tysons Corner Center. Three new high-rise structures (dark gray) surround it. With these modifications, the complex spans 1,971,000 leasable square feet and contains over 300 stores under its roof. Parking is provided for over 11,000 autos.
