A pesky vacant anchor space on the south end of NORTHRIDGE PLAZA was partially filled when a Hobby Lobby opened its doors in October 2016. Less than a year later, the mall's north anchor space was sitting empty. J.C. Penney pulled the proverbial plug on a store in business for over 36 years.

The owners of the PLAZA, Pierre's Midwest Construction & Development, have envisaged a comprehensive renovation of the front facade. The interior is sure to receive a face lift, as well. It is unknown whether the shuttering of J.C. Penney will impact this project.
