The nation's first 6-screen multiplex was installed in Omaha's WESTROADS MALL in 1969.


Two films were shown at the grand opening of the Six West. "Candy," starring Marlon Brando, James Coburn, Richard Burton and Charles Aznavour, was presented in Auditoriums 1 through 4. "Shalako," with Sean Connery and Brigitte Bardot, was presented in Auditoriums 5 and 6.
