The nation's first 6-screen multiplex was installed in Omaha's WESTROADS MALL in 1969.


At the grand opening of the Sixwest, two films were shown. "Candy", starring Marlon Brando, James Coburn, Richard Burton and Charles Aznavour, was presented in Auditoriums 1 through 4. "Shalako", with Sean Connery and Brigitte Bardot, was presented in Auditoriums 5 and 6.
