In this image, we see the building which housed the mall's Food Fair and Pantry Pride grocery stores. After Pantry Pride's 1981 demise, a Rockville, Maryland-based Magruder's supermarket set up shop. This store was shuttered in July 1995. The space was never retenanted.

After languishing as a vacant and deteriorating structure for several years, PAROLE PLAZA was unceremoniously demolished. A decidedly upscale lifestyle center was built, which opened for business between October 2008 and April 2009. The new ANNAPOLIS TOWNE CENTRE (AT PAROLE) encompassed 2.1 million square feet of retail, office and residential components.
