A vacant west end anchor store at BERGEN MALL awaits its impending wrecking ball renovation. The building, opened as an Ohrbach's in August 1967, housed a Steinbach department store between February 1987 and March 1996 and a Value City between November 1996 and January 2006.

The arched-roof Penn Fruit supermarket, which was one of the stores in the freestanding Bergen Mall Food Center on the east end of the complex. The building had tenures as Dale's Market and Shop-Rite grocery stores. After sitting vacant for 8 years, it was demolished in 2006; a facet of the metamorphosis of BERGEN MALL into today's OUTLETS AT BERGEN TOWN CENTER.
