"The shopping city of the '70s" is depicted in a circa-1973 site plan. This diagram shows the original configuration of the mall in black and new fourth anchor (Joseph Horne Company, a.k.a. "Horne's") in dark gray. With this addition, the complex enveloped approximately 1,001,500 leasable square feet, housed 101 stores and services, and provided parking for over 6,000 autos.
