In the 21st century, the west anchor at YORKTOWN CENTER retained its original branding, although the nameplate had been updated. The store closed, due to The Bon Ton Stores bankruptcy, in mid-2018. This left J.C. Penney as the mall's only remaining original anchor.

The east anchor, which opened as a Windy City-based Wieboldt's, went dark in July 1987 and sat vacant for 7 years. Von Maur renovated the building and dedicated their store in July 1994.

A view of The Eatery, a 13-bay assortment of restaurants. It is a redress of a Food Court installed during a 1994 interior face lift. The new culinary complex was dedicated in January 2014.
