A site plan of the original incarnation of FORD CITY MALL. In the mid-1960s, it was promoted as the largest enclosed mall in the region. In retrospect, the 3 year-old RANDHURST had more fully- enclosed area. The FORD CITY figure was obviously taking into account all of that mall's square footage...some of which was an open-air strip center.
