A mid-'60s site plan of the complex, which was initially known as FORD CITY CENTER. It was promoted as the largest enclosed mall in the region. In retrospect, the 3 year-old RANDHURST mall had more fully- enclosed area. The FORD CITY figure was obviously taking into account all of that mall's square footage...some of which was in an open-air strip center.
