A post-quake plan of NORTHRIDGE FASHION CENTER, dating to 1999. A renovation of the north end of the mall had been done in 1997 and '98, repurposing an abandoned The Broadway store as an Outdoor Promenade of shops and sit-down restaurants. Tenants include Cost Plus World Market (1) and Borders Books (2).
In a plan from 2015, some Outdoor Promenade tenants have changed. In 2012, vacant Cost Plus World Market and Borders Books spots were retenanted by Yard House Restaurant (1), Bar Louie (2) and Sports Authority (3). The Sports Authority would be short-lived. It would fold, along with the entire chain, in 2016.
