By 1975, the mall has been expanded several times. Jordan Marsh, the prospective west end anchor, was completed in late 1966. Burdine's underwent two enlargements (in shades of gray) between 1967 and 1972. The aforementioned East Mall (in medium gray), and its J.C. Penney, were dedicated between late 1970 and early 1971. Within a few years, the original section of the complex (now known as the West Mall) had been roofed in.
